Friends in Sight is a women-owned and operated independent optical studio based in Wellington, Ontario. Our registered opticians & stylists specialize in curated frame styling, custom lens finishing, non-prescription sun wear, and archival frame repairs.
Prescription & Professional Practice

Prescription Requirement: All prescription orders require a valid, unexpired prescription issued by a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. We reserve the right to verify prescription details prior to fulfilling your order.

Scope of Practice: Registered Optician fit, adapt, and dispense optical products. Our services do not include primary eye health exams or medical diagnosis. We encourage regular comprehensive eye exams with a licensed eye care professional.
Frame Repairs, Remounts & Adjustments

Customer-Owned Frames: While our team exercises the highest level of care and craft when adjusting, repairing, or remounting lenses into pre-owned or customer-supplied frames, pre-existing material fatigue, micro-cracks, or age-related brittleness can occasionally lead to frame damage during processing. Friends in Sight is not liable for structural failures that occur due to pre-existing material conditions during standard repair or adjustment services.
Non-Prescription Eyewear & Sun Protection

UV & Lens Standards: All non-prescription sunglasses and tinted lenses sold in our studio offer 100% UVA/UVB protection and meet applicable optical safety standards.
