Sizing & Fit
How do I find my size?
The best fit is always felt in person at our Wellington studio, but we’ve made it easy to shop from afar. You can book a virtual styling session or give us a call. We’ll walk you through the measurements of your current frames to find your new match.
My frames don't fit quite right.
What can i do?
Acetate and metal are designed to be tailored. We focus on making sure your frames are nicely fitted for comfort and daily wear. If you’ve received an order and are near the County, drop by to see how we can help. If you’re further away, any reputable trusted local optician can fine-tune the fit for you.

Prescriptions & Ordering
How do I buy prescription glasses?
The first step is the prescription. If you have a current prescription, you are welcome to bring it to the store and we will guide you through the steps.
If your prescription is expired or if you need to get a new one, we recommend going to a trusted optometrist of your choice, once you have the printed or electronic prescription then, come by the store, email or call us and we will assist with the rest. We make it super easy.
We provide custom lens and frame fitting.
A note on taxes: In Ontario, prescription eyewear is considered a medical device and is non-taxable when the frames and lenses are on the same order. Frames purchased without lenses are subject to tax.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders are prepared within 2-10 business days depending on complexity. Shipped via ground delivery securely. Let us know if you have shipping preferences.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We curate our collection with care and want you to love your choice. While we don't offer refunds, we accept exchanges or returns for store credit on eligible items within 10 days of purchase.
- Items must be in original, "as-new" condition.
- Custom items and accessories are Final Sale.
- Because prescription lenses are custom-made for your eyes, these orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed. All prescription sales are final.
Shipping & Damages
What if my order arrives damaged or is the wrong item?
We take pride in our packaging, but if something goes wrong, let us know within 5 business days of delivery. Email us with photos of the packaging and the frames so we can sort it out immediately.
Risk of Loss
Once we hand your order to the carrier, the "risk of loss" passes to you. However, we always use reliable partners to ensure your frames arrive safely. Please notify us if your order hasn't arrived within the expected time, we will try our best to help as much as possible.
Care & Warranty
How should I care for my frames?
Our eyewear is crafted from premium acetates and metals—they’re durable, but not indestructible.
- Avoid Heat: Never leave your glasses in a car; extreme heat can warp the frame.
- Clean Properly: Use a microfiber cloth. Avoid dish soaps or window cleaners, as they can strip lens coatings.
- Storage: When they aren't on your face, keep them in their case.
What is your Warranty?
We offer a two-year warranty on manufacturing defects for all full-priced frames. This doesn't cover "life" (scratched lenses, accidental breakage, or regular wear and tear). If you think your frame has a defect, email us with photos and your order number.
If "life" has happened to your glasses, we do offer repairs and refurbishing services so, reach out so we can provide a quote and get your glasses sorted out! info@friendsinsight.ca
